Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

EILT applies a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and relevance of all published manuscripts.

Review Model

EILT uses a Double-Blind Peer Review process, where both author and reviewer identities are concealed.

Review Stages

  1. Initial Screening
The editorial team evaluates submissions for completeness, scope suitability, and basic quality requirements.

  2. Plagiarism Screening
Manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection tools to ensure originality.

  3. Peer Review Assignment
Eligible manuscripts are sent to at least two independent reviewers.

  4. Reviewer Evaluation
Reviewers provide comments and recommendations (accept, revise, or reject).

  5. Editorial Decision
The editor makes the final decision based on reviewer reports.

  6. Revision Stage
Authors must revise their manuscript according to reviewer comments.

  7. Final Acceptance and Copyediting
Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, layout editing, and proofreading.

Review Duration

The review process typically takes 2–6 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and revision time.
